The Weird, Wonderful and downright strange

I should note that this post has lain in the draft folder for a couple of years. Having spotted it recently I finished it and released it.

The Weird

Our first night in Kazakhstan, we came out to find that the garage security man had decorated the bikes with flowers.

In Kyrgyzstan a large "Buddha" watches the road and Issy-Kul lake.

The Wonderful

Kyrgyzstan, possibly the best mountain range(s) I have ever seen.

The Strange

A Russian missile launcher, converted to a camper-van.

A cow blocking the entrance to a Cafe

The People

It takes a special, strange kind of person to ride solo across Mongolia, and Thomas was extra special.

The only British we met on the entire trip, Suzanne and Roger. Traveling the world, slowly. Breaking BMWs in more countries than we could break the Aprilias.
